Technology Fun!
Students in 6th and 7th grade used their creative talents to take an idea of a story, knock-knock joke, or expository text and create cartoons. First, they used online tools to make a story board, created characters and settings, edited their work and voila! They made masterpieces. Check out some of the work they created in Summer PEER 2011!

Garfield Summer PEER attends the Chinese Cultural Camp 2011
Yoyos
At the Chinese culture camp we learned how to use the Chinese yoyo it was the hardest thing to learn. The reason why it was so hard was that you had to throw the Chinese yo-yo in the air. The Chinese yo-yo actually came from Taiwan. I really liked it!! Brianna D.
